ADAPT was founded by Eddie Cobb in 2019. Eddie was driven to establish ADAPT after her own experience of recovery made her understand that a combination of housing, counselling and personalised support was the bedrock of recovery – but such opportunities are currently restricted to those who can pay private fees. Her determination has led to the achievements of ADAPT to date with a 83% success rate.
We are a free organisation and currently provide support to men struggling with addiction anywhere in the UK.
ADAPT offers a safe, supportive and non-judgemental environment to those wanting to rebuild their lives without the use of illicit substances. Our organisation is available to those who have completed primary or secondary care in rehabilitation units; or those who are looking for an abstinence based environment. ADAPT offers a bespoke day programme which operates five days a week, facilitated by a team of experienced and qualified Addictions Counsellors.
